At a pivotal moment when Web3 faced disruption and reinvention, the 9th Taiwan Blockchain Summit took the theme "Web3 ecosystem diversity + Web2 cross-sector collaboration = Web3 and Web2 thriving together," exploring how Web3 can break through challenges and achieve cross-sector collaboration. At the end of 2024 the Association selected six Web3 innovation domains with the potential to enter Web2 industries and reach the market, encouraging early positioning and the creation of a new economy: 1. DID - Decentralized Identity 2. dePIN - Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks 3. TBSI - Trusted Blockchain Service Infrastructure 4. dESG - Decentralized Sustainable Development 5. deAI - Decentralized Artificial Intelligence 6. RWA - Real-World Asset tokenization A highlight, "de₿ate: Debating the Path of Web3 Digital-Economy Development," featured three motions (trust architecture, digital assets, market expansion) and two contrasting lines of thought (disruptive innovation vs. iterative evolution of existing business models). Day 2 also included parallel sessions on on-chain fraud prevention, RWA, TBSI, AWS Web3, and generative AI on the sixth and seventh floors. Dates: Monday, November 18 to Tuesday, November 19; Day 1 12:00-17:40, Day 2 09:00-18:00. The agenda below is transcribed from the Association’s official page updated on November 17, 2024.
